ELECTROMAGNETIC TEMPLE
Your Subtitle text

Electromagnetic Temple started as an idea-- but it's really a concept.

I used to run a coffee shop. For a corporation. There were some things I really enjoyed about my job, but I always thought about my own imaginary place. Massage Therapy, Cabaret, easels set up for spontaneous painting, a juice bar...it was all over the map and it was called The Electromagnetic Temple.

Then I left that job. I decided to “find” myself. One of the things I did was to travel around the country; almost as an afterthought to the writing I was doing, I took pictures. I still thought about The Electromagnetic Temple, but how I thought about it changed. It wasn't an escapist thought anymore. The name had come to me suddenly, without much thought. It had just seemed right. Why?

The important thing to me about this imaginary place was the energy. Electromagnetic energy runs through you and me and everyone but mostly we keep it to ourselves. The Temple was about sharing, about letting it out.

Then one night I had a dream. I can't remember exactly. Something about writing over what was there already. Something about some drawings I did that didn't look like anything I had done before. The dream inspired me to play with those pictures I had taken on my journeys, to try to share the energy of what I felt in the Electromagnetic Temple that came with me everywhere I went along the way.
